Wisteria sinensis 'Blue Sapphire'

A beautiful wisteria, the drooping clusters of fragrant mauve-blue flowers appear just after the leaves. The attractive pinnate leaves emerge bronze in spring and mature to bright green then buttery yellow in autumn. It is ideal for growing against a wall or over a pergola in moist, but well drained soil and a position in full sun, although dappled shade will be tolerated.
