Callistemon citrinus Splendens

This evergreen is one of the hardiest bottlebrushes. It has an arching habit with willowy branches of lemon scented foliage. The young leaves are pinkish. It has very large flower spikes, up to 10cms long, with upright brushes of bright red flowers. Best grown in full  sun, a sheltered site, in well drained soil. 3ltr pot
