Protea cynaroides 'King Protea'

The best known Protea. It is an evergreen shrub that grows to 1.5m in height and spread. Produces large pink flowers in summer on mature stems. Plant in a sunny position in well-drained acidic soil. Hardy to -8c when grown in the correct position. Makes a great container plant. 17CM pot not currently in flower.
