Hippophae rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn)

Sea Buckthorn. A bushy shrub with spiny stems and narrow, grey green leaves. Inconspicuous yellow-green flowers in spring followed by round orange fruits on female plants. An excellent coastal plant for hedges and windbreaks.
